ReplyDeleteFor those interested in similar views, from overseas, go to YouTube and find the videos of a guy named Hannan from the UK. There's a 3-parter that's a virtual history lesson, and very informative for what's in store under Obama's plan, and to be learned by the UK experience.
I was there this Summer, and met not a single person who had anything good to say. One tour guide waited a full year for an ultrasound. If you work hard, and receive health insurance as a component of your compensation, you should be alarmed at yet another picking of your pocket, and one that could impact your quality of life, and truly, your lifespan.
Yes, for 85% of Americans serious health issues, life threatening or disabling illnes doesn't challenge their primary health providers.
ReplyDeleteBut I read daily on a health forum with UK residents participating and it amazes me the care they are entitled to, like home health care.
In this country the public spends hundreds of billions of dollars on Long Term care because we (the government) would rather support and hide our sickest in the nursing home arm of the health industry. That’s hundreds of BILLIONS yearly.
When was the last time you heard a glowing report about nursing home care (about $90,000) a year in NJ.
